Bella At Five Months

At five months old, Anabella Madelyn can be described with one word... perfection. Before having children, I always imagined myself having a girl. What girly-girl doesn't? Having a baby girl is everything I dreamed it would be. It's like having a little baby doll. She's so much fun to dress and is just the prettiest little thing I've ever seen. She is such a good baby, too. Her smile lights up the room and is very contagious. She is very easily entertained; just talk to her and she'll smile for you.

Her pictures turned out so good; she was smiling in almost every shot, so it was difficult to pick out only a few poses. Seeing her smile so much when she was getting her picture taken made me think back to the many times Eli had his picture taken during his first year. It was always so hard to get a smile out of him! The photographer would act like a fool trying to get a smile out of Eli, but my baby boy wouldn't budge. He's a lot like Stephen- no courtesy laughs or smiles... if something isn't funny, you can bet you won't get a smile or laugh out of either one of them. An open mouth is closest thing to a smile Eli would give at his five month photo session... my sweet baby boy. He was so little then!

Everyone has heard the term "bouncing baby girl." Well, that is definitely our Bella. She loves to bounce these days. She's so cute in the doorway jumper, just bouncing and smiling.
