Learning Sight Words

Eli has been doing such a good job learning sight words! I am amazed at how quickly he memorizes them. Since beginning this post, he has learned even more words. It's very exciting to see him pick out words when we're reading a book, and say, "Mommy, that's play." He seems so proud of himself. I love, love, love it that reading excites him!

Bella, Can I Give You A Kiss?

When we go on walks/bike rides, Bella walks in front of the stroller (that I think I sometimes take just to carry all of the stuff we have to take with us on a walk), and Eli rides pretty far ahead of Bella. On our walk this past Friday, Eli slowed down so that he would be right next to Bella. (I just happened to be snapping pictures at the moment this happened.) He said, "Bella, can I give you a kiss?"





It was so, so precious. I love it when they are sweet to one another.
