It started off with a plane ride. Eli and Bella were excited to fly and seemed amazed that we were flying through clouds and then actually on top of the clouds. Eli kept saying, "This is so cool."
When we landed, we were greeted with hugs from Grandma, Mamaw, and Papaw. So sweet.
Eli and Bella were so happy to see Grandpa, too!
Uncle James was asleep, and since he's been known to sleep in his birthday suit, we didn't let Eli and Bella go in to wake him. Haha! We did get to meet Erika. Even though she was exhausted, she stayed awake to greet us. (James... cough, cough)
The next morning, Bella spotted Uncle James and snuggled with him.
Mamaw and Papaw came over the next morning, and Eli and Bella had the best time playing in their camper.
Of course, a trip to Huntsville would not be complete without having dinner at Rosie's, our favorite place to eat... and take pictures?
Eli and Bella were excited about riding their four wheelers, sometimes at 6AM. Uncle James joined them, riding his bike in circles. What a fun uncle he is! Eli and Bella enjoyed playing kickball with Grandpa, blowing bubbles for Maxy to chase, Grandma rocking them, and playing with Eli and Abbey.
Aunt Kathy came over to see us at lunch one day. Eli and Bella were so happy to see her! We also stayed the night at Aunt Kathy and Uncle Kerry's house one night. What a fun and busy time we had!
We enjoyed spending time with Momma. Sweet Eli made her bed for her.
No visit to Momma's house would be complete without cookies!
Eli and Bella were able to visit with both Jay and Sophia.
Friday finally rolled around, and we were awaiting Stephen's arrival. After a long wait, looking out the door, Eli and Bella saw headlights illuminate the stop sign and turn onto the street. They started jumping up and down, "It's Daddy!! Daddy's here!!" Eli didn't seem to know what to do. When Stephen pulled into the driveway, he just pushed the door open and ran to him.
On Saturday morning, we had to say goodbye...
...and then we were on our way back to Texas.
Eli and Bella slept the entire drive. Hahahaha! Yeah right! They probably slept a total of an hour!
Hotel rooms are so much fun...
What a wonderful time we had spending time with family and friends!Hotel rooms are so much fun...
Back in Texas, things are back to normal. It doesn't get any better than this!
We are all so happy to be back together!
